Coast Guard Festival
Dedicated to the men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard, this festival dates back 84 years to 1924, when the very first guardsman family picnic was held at the Life Saving Station in Grand Haven. The Coast Guard itself celebrates 218 years of long-standing service. There are plenty of special events throughout the ten day family event Which include, tours of the Cutter Escanaba, parades, carnival rides, picnics, entertainment and nightly performances of the “World’s Largest Musical Fountain ” along the waterfront, a Street Dance and fireworks.
